CONVERSION OF FOREIGN DRIVERS LICENSE

All applicants who are holders of a foriegn drivers license can have their license converted to a Ghanaian license

   REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid foreign driver’s license
  • Non-national Applicant must have requisite papers to stay in Ghana (at least one year stay or a letter from Ghanaian employer)
  • Photocopy of foreign license

 

PROCEDURE:

  • Applicant shall appear in person with the above requirements
  • Validation of foreign license or translated copy
  • Payment of fees
  • Fill forms
  • Road Sign and Road Markings Test
  • Applicant is capture and cover note/temporary license is Issued
  • Collection of printed license within 3 months
